高等学校の探究活動に人類学・霊長類学が貢献できること
What anthropology and primatology can contribute to high school research activities

要旨　
　高等学校では，受験を意識するゆえ，唯一解を求める学習に偏重し，各科目内で学習内容が限定されるという弊害が生じている。しかし，実際に世の中に出て様々な問題を解決するには，このような学習は生徒の視野を狭くするばかりか問題解決能力の涵養につながらない。そのような中で，理科課題研究という科目（新学習指導要領では「理数探究」）が導入され, 能動的，対話的で深い学習の実現が求められている。東京都立国分寺高校では，これまで視野の広い生徒を育てようと先行的に多様で豊富な探究活動や生物部の活動等を行ってきた。指導するにあたって，視野の広い生徒を育てようと高等学校の教科としては設定されていない人類学や霊長類学の視点も積極的に取り入れた。本稿では，その歴史と実践例を紹介し考察する。

Abstract　

　Since most school curriculums are centralized towards preparation for college entrance exams, unfortunately the majority of educational styles tend to be passive, narrowed, and superficial. However, when they confront some real-world problems, such education does not help students come up with creative solutions. Therefore, it is essential to cultivate their ability to solve various problems by themselves. In order to develop students' capability to cope with problems in a broader perspective, Kokubunji high school has introduced new research activities in the biology club and in the Science Project Research program. By showing the brief history of our educational practice, this article demonstrates how the students start, explore and revise their own researches. Furthermore, this article illustrates how histological viewpoints from anthropology and primatology are useful in broadening students' research horizons.
